Leuven has so many statues that enhance the spirit of places in the city.  All illustrations in this series are inspired by some of the famous female statues in Leuven.

This one from the collection illustrates  ‘Zittend Meisje (A Lady in Botanical Garden)' is one of the statues in the Botanical Garden of Leuven. This statue was created by Lydia Stefani and inaugurated in 1988.
